I'd like to introduce my hobby, stamp collection, for many years I have been collecting stamps. Years ago I started a site with just Chilean Stamps, however with the time, I decided to extend the site to the 'world', so I modify the database to support multiple country and born FILAPEDIA. This site is completely developed under DotNetNuke

Some technical and non-technical characteristics (DNN):

• Non-Commercial SITE, it is just to promote the philatelic spirit, and show the beauty of the stamps
• It's Running DNN 4.6.0 (mostly with free core modules, + Ventrian.com )
• The Enciclopedia/Catalogo is full developed in C#
• All the images are stores in the MS SQL
• Any registered user can add a new stamp to the catalog
• The system takes an stamp with high resolution and save three version (different sizes).
• Put a watermark on the lfy if you are not a registered users (to save some bandwidth)
• Everything is dynamic (of course)... (the images are organized and displayed for each single case)
• So far...EEUU and CHILE (partially loaded), but growing...
• It's in Spanish.

Everything is under develpment, I know, still need a lot of work, better search engineer, better way to add new info, improve the skin, and improve the performance. Comments and suggestions are welcome
