Thanks, Rick. I get the MachineKey error on the website and the DNN portal page. I don't know what to ask GoDaddy to do. They have already told me they don't support DNN. A clean install won't change anything since I failed to preserve the original web.config file.

You might be able to extend the work around by creating a new DNN installation on your home system, then changing the admin password.  Look at the hash in the SQL table, access SQL on GoDaddy and enter that same hash.  Then copy the machine keys from your home web.config to the GoDaddy web.config.

Let me just say, GoDaddy has been awesome in the area of customer support for me over the past few weeks as I try to set this all up. Today I called and said, "I've screwed this up beyond recovery. I need to reset the whole website. How can I do that?" The answer was simple!

I was using a free hosting cret for the domain in question. All I had to do was click my way through canceling the credit and then setting it up again! How cool is that! Took no time at all! Now I'm going to do a "new" install of DNN to my GoDaddy account, install the store module, and then move the installation up to the root. Yay!
