I'm trying to correct this problem and I have already gone through  the 4.6.2 install.  I have made the above changes to the code in the registry assembly stored procedure but when I try to save the file I get the following error:

Incorrect syntax near '}',

The stored procedure code looks like this:

    INSERT INTO {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Assemblies (
                PackageID,
                AssemblyName,
                Version
            )
            VALUES (
                @PackageID,
                @AssemblyName,
                @Version
            )

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Paul

Is that change in the actual script or are you trying to modify the stored procedure after it's been installed into the database? If it's the second one then replace {databaseOwner} with the actual database owner account and the {objectQualifier} with the objectQualifier that you're using.

Example using DnnDev as the dbo and Dnn_ as the objectQualifier:

INSERT INTO DnnDev.Dnn_Assemblies (
                PackageID,
                AssemblyName,
                Version
            )
            VALUES (
                @PackageID,
                @AssemblyName,
                @Version
            )

Yes...it is after the installation and I am trying to modify the stored procedure.  You're going to have to do some hand holding here because I have no experience with SQL .  I have a vanilla install of dnn and set it up with SQL Express and used windows authentication instead of SA.  I know the dbo but have no idea what to set for object qualifier or where to find that info.  Thanks for your help.

There's a couple of ways. One is to look in your web.config and search for objectQualifier= that'll be found in the SQLDataProvider section. The other is to look at the tables in the database themselves. If you use an objectQualifier everyone of your tables in the database will be preceded by it.

My connection string gives no clues:
<add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

With this information, can you give me an example of what this would look like plugged into the stored procedure?

I'm in over my skis on the SP's and SQL side of things but I really need to get the AD provider working for my Intranet users.

Thanks for your help.

Paul
