FYI The forum guidelines for this forum are pinned at the top of the forum (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/112/threadid/15001/scope/posts/Default.aspx ). The intent of this forum is to be a "low-noise" forum that people can subscribe to for interesting announcements and not fully blown discussions - i.e. a subscriber may get 3/4 posts a day by subscribing to the forum, rather than the 100's that some of the other forums get.

The moderators are not offended by the discussion (in fact I'm personally quite interested), but it's our job to ensure the forum posts meet the rules. Strictly speaking your original post could be construed as advertising which is not allowed in this forum, but I felt that was not the main aim of the post and that the rest of the content was of interest to the general community.

As to what forum to post this into, I would suggest the "chat about it" forum would seem approriate, it's the highest volume forum, and most people use it to chat about general topics. If you want me to move it to there, let me know.

Cathal

Regardless of how apropos this thread might be in this forum, I personally would be interested in learning more details about how the OP constructed the 3rd site. Specifically, what modules did they use, and what type of custom dnn code was required.

Why not move this thread to the Chat About It forum?

Thanks everyone.
