Just thought I would post here to remind everyone to be 100% sure to enter the full Secret Key if you are enabling Windows Live Authentication as if you happen to put in less than 15 characters and update you will render your login page unusuable until you modify some database values....  I have logged it in Gemini http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=6364

Just thought I would make it know for those here that might be having this issue.

Nice catch Mitchel. I have not really gotten into the LiveID as I find it to be to presistant. I do however really like (and am pushing for certain clients) the OpenID  Auth method.

I have also run into issues with LiveID when the login page is SSL. It at times does not auth and when it does it's very slow to authorize.

Yeah I actually caught this when just testing as I am writing a tutorial for a client's website and just put in garbage data and then got locked out of my test installation.

That SSL note is a good one to remember as well.  Is that a DNN issue or a Windows Live issue though?  DO you get an error?

Beings how LiveID is not my favorite because it's persistent, I have not yet debugged. But it appears as just a blank postback. No redirect, you remain on the login page and not logged in. If the page is set as unsecured it behaves as expected.

Can someone tell me, enabling OpenID and LiveID won't be problematic with this info?
