On the Edit Announcement page, the ...ctlURL:cboFolders SELECT element contains a style attribute. I want to remove this style attribute, but I can't seem to figure out how it gets added to the source. It's not in urlcontrol.ascx.

Here's a snip of the page source:

<select name="dnn:ctr1034:EditAnnouncements:ctlURL:cboFolders" onchange=" setTimeout('__doPostBack(\'dnn$ctr1034$EditAnnouncements$ctlURL$cboFolders\',\'\')', 0)" language="javascript" id="dnn_ctr1034_EditAnnouncements_ctlURL_cboFolders" class="NormalTextBox" style="width:225px;">

I want to figure out how to remove the highlighted style attribute, because I want to be able to modify the width of this drop down from the ascx code. Can anyone tell me where this is coming from, so I can remove it?

Thanks for any help.

I found the solution. It's the width attribute of portal:url.

Here's the change I made in EditAnnouncements.ascx:

<portal:url id="ctlURL" runat="server" width="400" shownone="true" />
