I just made a template of site (DNN 6.4.0) that I needed to port to a new installation of DNN 6.4.2   The template export (with content) went fine, after importing the template to the new portal, I was very disapointed to see that the export function DID NOT completely export the LINKS in the links module on each page. The content is there, expect for the skins and gifs, but the links are all directed at the home page which means I have to manually go through each link and set it to the correct page.

Is this how the export feature is suppose to work?

In addition to the above post:

The template export function stripped all http links in my site and replaced them with '/Default.aspx?tabid=238'

It even reset the links inside all HTML modules.

It's nice that it keeps the page structure of the site and 'most' of the content.  However, having to go through your site and reset each URL is a pain and time consuming. Almost not worth trying to export your site as a template.

I'm not sure why someone would want to create a template without the URL's.

Okay, the template export didn't strip the URL's. However, when importing the new template to a clean install of the DNN 4.6.2, the URL's are not matching with the pages.

Any work around this would be greatly appreciated.
