Hi,

I would like to know if this is "normal behavior". I can edit languages as a admin of a portal. However, after saving a local resource file it seems the application is restarting itself. This is logged in the event log and you also notice this since it does not respond a while. I want to know if this is normal behavior since if you have many administrator doing this in various portals....you get many restarts..which eventually will make the application not responding well for neither admin, nor for users.

I was a already afraid that this was the cause. I thought it would only affect dll, but probably it does not. I did not see a restart if an image is uploaded or if a file like a pdf is created and added to one of the directories...but if you remove it later on...I hope it will not restart? In that case the performance of the application is depending on what the user is doing. Is there a way of telling ASP that some directories are not ment for ASP's application restart?
