I was upgrading mu DNN site and during inst;allation I got this error

00:00:03.303 - Installing Package File OpenID_01.00.00_Install:  Error!

I believe the file was not found during installation (failed to copy during FTP transfer).

What can I do to ensure that the following packages get installed after all?

LiveID_01.00.00_Install

OpenID_01.00.00_Installing

Thanks,

Federico, Spain, Barcelona

I know this is an old post, but did anyone find the solution to this? I am getting the same error when trying to upgrade from 4.5.4 to 4.8.4. I am pretty sure I have all the files on the server. So I do not think it is a file copy error. Any suggestions will be appreciated,

The page listed below contains some information about the error listed here. It also talks about one more error when upgrading DotNetNuke: http://dnchannel.blogspot.com/2008/06/upgrading-dotnetnuke-from-441-to-484.html.

the error is not very specific and might be caused by missing access permission to web.config file. you can try to install authentication providers in a second step after finishing upgrade from host Settings in Host menu inside DNN.
