I am trying to install a new module in 4.6.2 from a .DNN file and the Create New Module in module definitions is missing. What am I missing or has something changed from 4.5?

Thanks

OK I just compared the 4.5.5 and 4.6.2 versions on the editmoduledefinition.ascx of ModuleDefinitions and the cboManifest has been removed in 4.6.2.  I looked at the release notes and could find any documentation on this change, how do you create a new module from a dnn manifest now?

Had same problem.

Renamed the module name from "YourCompany.ModuleName" to simply "ModuleName". Once updated the menu option was there.

Hope this helps.

I have the same problem in version 4.7. I'm reviewing the example how to create modules and my module is named simply Survey (from dnn docs).

Sorry, but I can't understand the solution from your previous post, can you explain?

Thanks.
