On my intranet (local) I upgraded 4.5.5 to 4.6.2 and received an error has occured.

An error has occurred.
An error has occurred.

I noticed the address bar: Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.&content=0

I do have two version of sql server so I tried: connectionString="Server=project1\sqlexpress

I receive login failures when I change it, not sure if/why the upgrade overwrote the web.config.

This condition has repeated on two attempted local upgrades.

Thanks,

Database_log.ldf > Some of my sites had not been complied yet so, they where setup in IIS and such but because they never actually ran they never even created the .ldf file.  So I was in effect trying to upgrade a site that didnt exist.

I reviewed the upgrade link and copied it for future referance.

Regards,

Web Valley
