On my ascx page, I have:

            <Portal:url ID="TabList" runat="server" showfiles="false" showlog="False" shownewwindow="False"
                showtabs="True" showtrack="False" showurls="False" urltype="default" width="300">
            </Portal:url>

Basically, on page load, I want to change the selected list item within this control with my vb codebehind file with something similar to this:

                            TabList.SelectedIndex = TabIDValueReturnedByQuery

Of course, this doesn't work because the control ID "TabList" isn't recognized as an asp control and isn't declared.

Can anyone shed some light on this? This has to be relatively easy, I'm just a bit new to coding on this level.
