I dropped the Blog module in a child portal without any errors.

When I click the Create my blog link, I go to the New Blog configuration page but when I hit the "Allow users to post comment" checkbox, I get thrown to the login page.

Is someone running the blog module as a on a child portal?

Warm Regards,
Ashvil

I too have problems with the module. Using the 4.x DNN and the latest blog module, I created my blog and even posted one entry. Now that I try to add more entries I get a Page Error (in I.E.) when I try to postback or I get redirected to Login.

It seems like this error has migrated to the other pages. I cannot update pages in my child portal without this error.

Hmmm  I don't really know about child portals.  Since HP and Catal have vanished into thin air :) I've been looking at the code to see if I could answer some questions here.

There doesn't seem to be any reason why you couldn't as the blog is portal specific.  Try creating it as a personal blog and see if that changes anything.

As far as working with DNN 4.0.2 it should.  I'm not having a problem with it.  I think you are probably having a different problem and niticed it first in the blog.  Are you using DNN 4.0.2?  What is the page error you are getting?  I do know that it was writen under DNN 3.2.x and that there are issues with DNN 4.0.1.

I realized that the errors happen when I access my portal.sample.com website with the www domain. I.E. going to www.portal.sample.com loads the pages and lets me login, but causes a page error when I try to update anything.
