Hrm, bummer. I had trouble getting your last post to work (due to my lack of knowledge in the area I am sure) but I will keep trying it and sooner or later I'll understand what I am doing wrong. Thanks for setting me straight.

The response from the second post was correct.

In your skin.ascx, use:

<dnn:BREADCRUMB runat="server" id="dnnBREADCRUMB" cssclass="breadcrumbs" separator=" » " rootlevel="0" />

But because the breadcrumb is a link, you have to style it in that context - Example from my skin:

.breadcrumbs{color:#3A45A1;font:11px Arial,Helvetica;font-weight:none}
a.breadcrumbs:link{color:#3A45A1;font:11px Arial,Helvetica;font-weight:none;text-decoration:none}
a.breadcrumbs:visited{color:#3A45A1;font-weight:none;text-decoration:none}
a.breadcrumbs:active{color:#6D94B9;font-weight:none;text-decoration:underline}
a.breadcrumbs:hover{color:#6D94B9;font-weight:none;text-decoration:underline}

You can combine those into shorter statements to save some space.

That will work so long as nothing else is getting messed up with it.

Regards,
Rob

Ok, thanks. That looks pretty straight forward now that you have written it all out for me :) I will definately work on getting this working the right way as I don't want to start getting into bad habits that will get me in the long run. I appreciate all the help you guys have given me. Mike
