I have folder with an html template inside.  Inside this folder there is the html document, a css file and an images directory.  People who design these templates need to be able to zip them, upload them and then I need to programmatically unzip them  to the templates directory so that the folder is created with the files inside and can be read.

Assuming the most simple scenario, there is an understood procedure for zipping these files so that the zipfileName represents the folderName and simple extracts to the folder name, how may I proceed, using DNN core functionality or its own use of sharpziplib to upload the zip and unzip it?

That's all you do: Zip up your files, name your zip something like "MyCoolSkin.zip". Then log in as host, navigate to Host > Skins > Upload Skin. This starts the skin installation routine which automatically creates the skin ascx file. It creates a folder "MyCoolSkin" under \portals\_default, and can be selected in the Admin > Site Settings section.

Thank you!  I did not explain clearly enough.  I have created a custom newsletter module and I need the designer to be able to upload custom html templates to this newsletter module.  For this reason, I need this functionality in the module itself and I thought someone out there might already have pointers for extending a custom module with this ability.
