I'm both the President and Webmaster for a local computer user group. After much research into what sort of CMS is going to support the group's needs in so far as permissions to view content, manage discussions, etc.; we've decided to opt for using DNN. Our hosting provider (shared Windows) says the version of DNN we can use would be v4.3, due to the requirements stated in newer versions. However, I'm not able to locate the INSTALL file for that version on this site, as it starts with version 4.4.1. Can someone advise me as to where I can download the files for that version of DNN, or if the server system requirements for 4.4.1 are all that different.

Thanks, and much appreciation in advance!

I suggest to use latest version 4.6.2, as it will provide the best upgrade path for future versions, there is NO advantage in taking old version 4.3.7, that has a number of bugs not fixed and several features missing.

Are the server system requirements for v4.6.2 the same as those for v4.3.7? That's my question that needs to be resolved. Thanks in advance!

yes. you will have some benefit, if AJAX.Net is additionally installed.
