I tried a different forum for this post this morning, but it never made it past moderation evidently.

I'm dead in the water with DNN -- all of a sudden the Login and Register links do nothing at all, simply postback to the home page.  I can't do anything with this -- it's a very discouraging start.

Thanks John!  That got me in.

Next question:  Now I can't log out -- the Register and Login functions still do not work.  I cannot log out and if I open the page in another browser I can't log in.

I had the same problem (see my post in Install It with 0 replies).  I wish I had seen the OpenSesame posted by another responder.  We installed it a 3rd time, and this time I did far more configuring.  It seems to have "taken", now, because I CAN log back in either as Host or Admin.  But I'm going to keep the OpenSesame tool nearby because I'm new to this and will undoubtedly "lose" the login screen that currently exists.

In my case, Login.aspx some how was no longer there.  I could not find it on my local copy anywhere -- I had to reinsttall the entire package.
