Ok Hi guys

im finding my self sinking instead of swimming, my aim is to creat a web site for a wow guild i belong to, so i purchased a package from skin3 a web name/hosting package and have found my self here reading page after page and watching videos, but got to admit its just not sinking in.

so my question is, is there any body out there that would be willing to build one for me or maybe run me through the process in baby steps :).

yours  Adam

I'm not sure if you're struggling with the whole DNN thing or just the skin part, but my suggestion is that you make a small investment in a book like "Professional DotNetNuke 4".  This book will help you get started.  It will run you through the process in baby steps.

Soundss to me like you need the DotNetNuke for Dummies book.  This will guide you through how to build and maintain a DNN site.

When I started with DotNetNuke a year ago I knew absolutely nothing about it.  I bought a copy of professional DotNetNuke 4 read it cover to cover and it did wonders.  It is very easy to understand it covers everything you need to know, and best of all it is a great reference even when you have experience with DotNetNuke.  I still reach for this book to answer most of my questions.

You can get it from

http://www.amazon.com/Professional-DotNetNuke-Application-Framework-Programmer/dp/0471788163/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-0051576-5472154?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1192570114&sr=8-1

when last I checked it was $14.00.

Also if you need aditional help there are plenty of well qualified people on these forums who know what they are talking about and get back to you quickly.

hope this helps

Mike
