Here is my situation,  I have a main portal and several sub portals.  Many of these portals share images so it is easier for me to just put the images into a folder off of my root folder and then use a relative path to find them, example (/logos/mylogo.png) and that rendered (http://www.mydomain.com/logos/mylogo.png) . Up until now, it has worked just fine but after upgrading my image path is now being rendered as (http://www.mydomain.com /Portals/0//logos/mylogo.png)  As you can see this is a problem and with 10 portals and hundreds of image files, this is going to be a task to update all of them with full urls.  On a side note, they show up fine when I am in edit mode, its only when I save and it renders is when the images break.

Any idea what is causing this or how to fix it?

Previous Version:  4.5.5,  the only module effected seems to be the TEXT/HTML module.

Hello jlafon

Not sure this is the same issue but maybe related. I upgraded to version 455 from 441 - everything was fine for 2 months then all of a sudden images and skin css were not rendering. I saw the same thing image path with // in it. After some research in the database I found in the portals table that  that the portal home directory changed to /portal0// with the extra slashes instead of portals/0. I have no idea how this could have happened since while you can see the portal home directory in the host settings you cannot change it there.

So I changed it in the database and all is fine now.

This was one of 19 portals that I run under a single instance. None of the other portals were affected.

Good luck.

A little more on the problem I am having.  When I use a relative url it is putting /Portal/0/ in front of the URL not matter what.  Even when the url is /Portals/0/Image.png it is rendering /Portals/0//Portal/0/Image.png.

Teambound,   I have checked the database and it seems ok but thanks for the input.
