Is it possible to allow a user to embed a Youtube video into the core bio field? When I try this it previews OK but when I click Update the code is being stripped out. I would like to do this so subscribers can have a youtube video showing on their custom user profile page (or maybe a flickr gallery). This seems to work with a standard text/html but not in an instance of the FCK editor in the manage Profile section.

Also can I configure FCK editor to have functions based on user roles so that only some roles can insert images, browse gallery or upload new images?

you can configure FCKEditor toolbars in the advanced Editor options dialog accessable from the link below the editor.

allowing script code in editor fields is imho a bad idea from security point of view.

Hi

In the advanced Editor options dialog, I see nothing I can change to allow scripts embeding youtube videos. I'd like to allow this in the forum module for trusted users.
