Hi All

Forgive the possibly noobish question but is there any way I can create a link in the links module that would link a user directly to the manage profile option that each user has?

I ask because my users aren't generally sharp enough to know to click on their name...

Thanks

Dagga

Actually, a further question

Can the Manage profile option be hidden at all?

Thanks

The stock visibility controls for the profile page are located at: Admin>User Accounts>User Settings

This is not one of the options though.  You will need to change the code in the site.
The file you want to change is located here (in DNN version 4.7):

/admin/Users/manageusers.ascx

On line 33 you want to add the code:
Visible="False"

 So your code will look like so:

</

td>

<td width="10"></td>

<td nowrap valign="bottom">

<dnn:commandbutton id="cmdProfile" Visible="False" runat="server"resourcekey="cmdProfile" imageurl="~/images/icon_users_16px.gif"causesvalidation="False" />
