It would be really nice if we could enjoy all the new improvements of the latest version.  I'd especially like to be able to change the signature setting.

Anyone know a reason why these forums have not been upgraded?

It has been stated, that forums will be upgraded as soon as necessary admin resources are available.

Ok.  I have no idea what that means though.  Sounds like another form of "when it's ready".  But I can accept that.

As many people may or may not know, Scott Willhite is the person primarily responsible for maintaining our infrastructure.  He is currently on a leave of absence for October.  While he is still doing some things to help out he is not able to handle some of the more involved infrastructure upgrade tasks at the moment.  Due to the volume of traffic and visibility of DotNetNuke forums, we anticipate that the forum upgrades will require a fair bit of testing and handholding when it is first upgraded to ensure that any issues which may arise can be dealt with quickly.  As a result we have decided that it is best to wait until we have Scott's full attention which will not happen until we are back from OpenForce '07.  While we have others who could handle this function, their focus right now is on getting ready for DNN 4.7 and OpenForce and making sure that the conference and DNN release goes smoothly.

Thanks Joe.  Now I understand.  I must have missed the post where this had been stated before.
