I am in need of using a DataSourceID for a particular GridView running off of a conroller.vb
I am aware that GridViews cannot have both DataSource & DataSourceID,
Since I cannot use both DataSource (for normal sql binding) and DataSourceID (contoller.vb), how can I execute the following contoller.vb SELECTALL command?:

 <DataObjectMethod(DataObjectMethodType.Select)> _
Public Shared Function ModuleName_SelectAll(ByVal ModuleId As Integer) As List(Of ModuleNameInfo)
Return CBO.FillCollection(Of ModuleNameInfo)(CType(DataProvider.Instance().ExecuteReader("ModuleName_SelectAll", ModuleId), IDataReader))
End Function


How would I execute the controller.vb's ModuleName_SelectAll within the .ascx.vb file?

I would drag an ObjectDataSource onto the design area, then select it, look at its properties, and in the TypeName field put

YourCompany.Modules.ModuleName.ModuleNameController

Select the edit for the ObjectDataSource then select "Configure datasource")

In the drop down list select your controller. Click Next

For each of the select, insert, delete, update you want to use, use the dropdownlist to select your stored procedure.
