I'm slowly rebuilding my site from scratch http://www.darkelflx.com/home and while dabbling today I decided I ought to check out my settings for new user registration.

I logged out and hit the register button and... I got a blank page with just my site menu.

I tried all 3 methods of registration settings, Private, Public and Verified.. no change.

I switched to another skin/container combo.  no change.

Logging in isn't a proble as there's a log-in box on my main page, but I'd really like to allow people to register seeing as how there's a whole section of the site that's only for registered friends and family..

Well it took a few days to get this message approved and since then I've "solved" the problem, but I really don't know what caused it or how I solved it.  I'd be most appreciative to know what the heck might have caused this and how I can avoid making the same mistake again.
