I have installed DNN. When i created a forum and clicked my posts an error ocurred: A critical error has occurred. ORDER BY items must appear in the select list if SELECT DISTINCT is specified. I tried to repaired this by modifing a store procedure in the database.mdf. But the database is empty and i can't find out that store procedure ( I used SQL management studio to attach to the database file in the folder app_data, my DNN use SqlExpression defined in the connection strings in web.config). I don't know why the databse file is empty, if so how does DNN work?

I have no idea what is the matter with your database. It just CANNOT be empty but you still have a running portal. I think this is just impossible.

However, regarding your Forum problem, check out this thread: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/7/threadid/50943/threadpage/1/scope/posts/Default.aspx

There's a solution in the last two posts of that thread that has worked for me.

Even better: Upgrade to Forum 4.4.3!

Vera
