I am an experienced DNN user and module writer.  I cannot figure this one out.  Hopefully someone can help me!

I cannot seem to login to my DNN site using IE 7.  IE 6 and Firefox (latest version) work just fine.

I need to resolve this issue and have been banging my head against the wall the entire day.  Help!!!

Vic, the only time I've run into a problem logging into a DNN site is when my temporary internet file storage was full. Did you check that?

I figured out the solution to this problem.

If your intranet server or local development machine has an underscore '_' in it, IE 7 will not allow the browser to register session cookies.

I did the equivalent of modifying the portal alias to "servername" from "server_name" and added a setting to my hosts file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) so that "servername" points to the IP address of the server ("server_name").  After that, I could access the portal without the underscore in the URL and everything works fine.
