Hi Declic Video,
Thank you very much for the kind words.  We're working extremely hard through these days to make sure our customers have as good of an experience as possible and we've been beefing up our staff in order to handle the increased demand from people migrating from WHFL.

I fully believe that every company makes mistakes and should be given a chance to fix their mistakes and make things right, and, because I work for PowerDNN, I try not to comment on other webhosting companies; however, if you are hosted on WHFL and your site has been down for a week, that is just simply too long.  If you are being affected by WHFL, contact their team and then give them a day or two in order to get your stuff back up and running, but if they still can't get it up, we are ready to assist in any way possible.

 Hello Tony,

Maybe you did not see my post:

{...}
- I *WAS* hosted with Webhost4life... They were not able to help to migrate my DNN website after 1 month (they have been bought by another company). They said that with DNN, they do not have any knowledge and they can not help.
- I *AM* hosted with POWERDNN and very satisfied so far !!!
- I paid 59$/month with WH4L, and now I am paying 20$/month for a faster website, with a dedicated app pool
- negative point: nothing bad so far...
- possibility to connect to the database remotely with the web (MyLittle Admin or similar) --> the tool is not performant enough, but I was able to connect through Management Studio 2008.

So, if you are still hesitating, JUMP and do not hesitate anymore ! My first contact, TIM NORRIS was very nice, done everything fast and it was reliable. I thank him and the team with him who help me to setup my website VERY rapidly.
{...}

So now, everything is OK.... ;-)
So far, so good.

You are wise to transfer hosts. We were with WebHost4Life for years and were very pleased, but with the transfer to the new platform they slapped our DNN portal on a UNIX box and then lost all our account information. Obviously the site didn't work and the new support denied we existed so it was rather difficult to make any headway on getting the issues solved. Only the old support identified the issue and gave us a hail marry pass by moving us back to the old platform. One week after transferring off of WebHost4Life, they responded to our first ticket.

Annnnyway, we tried Arvixe for a week but found that their support refused to talk DNN and was rather gruff about getting technical beyond FTP-ing some files, even though Sales and Support promised transfer assistance. They also took days to respond to tickets and were rather defensive about it.

PowerDNN was an extreme pleasure to transfer to. Their responses are rather immediate, intelligent, and pleasant. They were able and willing to help me work through all sorts of details surrounding the transfer and testing the site to make sure it was up and running properly.

Hi Stacy and Declic,
Thank you very much for the compliments.  We definitely make the investments in order to provide the best customer service possible.  Next week we're planning on adding an additional 3 more support members (we have interviews lined up all this week).

By the way, if you don't mind, please write a review about us in the DotNetNuke Directory at:
http://www.dnndir.com/Home/tabid/1003...

and while you're there, if you don't mind, please write a review about any other hosts you've had experience with as well.

I'm curious to know if anyone has tried www.jodohost.com.  They sound incredibly flexible and pretty keenly priced.

I have heard them complimented for their bare ASP .Net hosting.  I'm wondering if anyone has any DNN experience with them.

Best wishes,

I have used JodoHost for many years.  The shared hosting got a little slow for www.dignuke.com so I moved it to their $40 Windows VPS and I think it runs great.  The support is fast an knowledgeable and always on top of issues.  They are not DNN experts, but they know it well enough to help if you have any issues with setup.
Thanks,
Mike
