I seem to have lost access to some things here after the forum upgrade. I'm unable to open links to threads posted within posts and it's also telling me my posts have to be moderated... hope I don't have to start all over again from noobiness.

Something's certainly a little buggy.

I'm not having any problems opening links to forum threads but did get the moderation required message when making my first post a few minutes ago using the new forum upgrade. Oddly, my post appeared immediately in the threads with no apparent moderation. Let's see what happens to this one!?

The above post also generated the moderation required message upon clicking submit but appeared immediately as well - apparently the wrong message is being displayed following submission of a post by a trusted user.

Yes it seems we get the moderation message but the posts go through anyways.

I'm not sure what's causing the link issue, but I'm unable to open the link to a forum post in the second to last post in this thread: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/112/threadid/176924/scope/posts/Default.aspx
It tells me I haven't got access.

I'm also not receiving any forum notifications since the change.

on a good note, the new forum sure is snappier.

No problem here opening that particular link. I'm not receiving per thread notifications either. I just turned on notification for the Extend It VS2005 forum so we'll see if these notifications go through. As you said, response seems much better as does the crisp and mostly clean layout. I do wish that thread/post icons were smaller however. The inclusion of the forum name in each thread listing when viewing the Aggregated Forums is much appreaciated as I would often open threads in this view without knowing if it was posted in a forum in which I was interested.
