I'm not sure how much ATLAS is controlling the API here, but to add an extra argument in the RaiseClientCallbackEvent making the Client variables accessible in the callbackevent would be very useful. I'ts solvable already today by returning a joined value and split it up within the client return function, however it would be easier for non javahackers to fully rely on the Get and Set variable functions.
Something like....

RaiseClientCallbackEvent(ByVal eventArgument as String, ByVal autoSpace as ClientAPIAutoClass) as string impl....
          autoSpace.Get(VarNamne)
          autoSpace.Set(VarName) = Value

ok, just a 2 cent's

Actually ATLAS is not used at all in the ClientAPI.

Regarding your request to have access to the variables...  interesting idea.  I may consider something like this as an optional way to pass values.  Actually it would not be that hard to just pass the client variables as the single argument, then use the same code that it has to parse the argument...   It of course would need to be the return value.  I will look into formalizing this approach (no guarantees).  Nice idea!

I agree, I am dealing with this very issue right now. A place to stick variables for the callback would be very helpful.
