hiya,

Just wondered if there is a .net3 version plan for dnn?

I know that we have just moved to dnn4 not a long ago, but still...

DNN4 works great, so do we really need an upgrade whenever ms are upgrading the .net framework??

Also, Does any1 know about the changes from 2 to 3? Is the difference that big?

Thanx
Shai

Hi,

.Net 3.0 is basically .Net 2.0 with all of the additional foundation frameworks.

I'm kind of new to DotNetNuke, less than a year, what was the delay between 1.1 and 2.0 support?  Just wondering if migration to the .Net 3.5 platform is on the books.  I've been using beta two and F# seems tailor made for DotNetNuke component development.

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!

Ben is correct, .Net 3.0 is .Net 2.0 with additional components like WPF, WCF, WWF, Cardspace (there is a big book in Redmond where all Abbreviations are listed).

FYI: DotNetNuke 4.0 was released the same day as .Net Framework 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005
