Hi after reading Shauns blog earlier i started to do some searching as i currently have 3 sites hosted on wh4l and have noticed a increased message in my event log.

Shutdown Details: The AppDomain shut down because of the hosting environment.

As is a shared host i am unable to confirm if is something that is due to the app pool, but during my digging i noticed a post refering to http://www.superska.net/Home/tabid/36/EntryID/97/Default.aspx which has pointed to Recovery models.  After checking i can confirm mine is also set to full and on average my db size is hitting over 100mb which i have been told due to log size.  Can anyone tell my if there is any problems switching to simple. As the post says has increased preformance due to the change.  Also as this is a live site which i don't do development on only use forums, gallery and core modules.

There are no real problems with switching to simple, don't forget to set autoshrink = true or the DB size will not shrink after a DB backup.

Cheers timo, anything to improve wh4l hosting speeds as sometimes i feel can go for a cofee whilst it loads.
