I'd love to see some opnions about web hosting Companies for DNN.

We made the mistake of signing up for one of the advertisers from this site. we felt that we sould at least use one of the supporters of this site.

Geez.. was it a mistake.

Whoever else in the world you choose, do not choose webhost4live.com. ANYBODY but them!!!

Their tech support number will ring, place you on hold like any other phone queue, then after holding for about 15 minutes, they hang up on you.

My experence was, after I finally did reach a tech support person, I got a person who didn't know ANYTHING about how to use nslookup.

Second person was better, but she still couldn't actually DO anything, so it quickly got escolated to a "technician". My opninion is, anybody who is setting up DNN usually has an idea of what is happenning, bu tjust needs the permissions do to it.

Now, I run into permissions problems. I cannot get DNN to save content to the DB, and I can't upload files to my Folder.

I'm on hold as I type this, but please.. if anyone has had a good experence wiht any webhosting Companies, and DNN, please post a reply.

DOTNETNUKE ROCKS!!!!

PS, I plan on using the DNN account to register Google adsense. Hope that helps, guys.
