Hello all: i'm kind of a newbie at this.

I developed a custom module. When DNN is in Edit mode (for example host user) it works fine. But not in View mode.

- I tried deleting all the content and adding only a button and a textbox.

- I add on the onclick event of the Button, --> textbox1.text = "AAA"

- If i'm on edit mode, i click on the button and the textbox text changes. If i'm on view mode it doesn't.

Any clues why this happens?

Why does it need to be set like that? Doesn't that have a negative impact on the server?
