Hi Folks,

I'm working on a c#-Module that creates a Page in the Admin-Menu (Some contigurations for our own DNN-Shopsystem). My Problem is, that I have to know the ParentID of all the other Admin-Pages... How do I get this promatically? What I did now was just opening the Table and check for some Admin-Pages in the Tabs-Table... But these Names / TabIDs can change from innstallation to installation... How do I get this right so that this works on all installations?

Another Question in the same matter. I created a Module with all the config-Stuff in it. Everything works nice when I know what ModuleDefID this Module has. But this DefID changes on every installation... How do I make sure that it has the same DefID every time?

Thank you very much,

Michael

Michael,

Not real clear on the parent ID question, but you could probably build you own routine that does what you did manually.  If my memory serves me there is a admin flag and a level field in the tabs table.

On the moduledefid - I am pretty sure you can get this by name.

Steve
