With the long awaited release of the DNN Forum module Oct 2007, we started using it almost immediately. The project team did a great job and we are very grateful for their continued efforts, but in our view there is still no way to easily theme the forum module so it will blend with your respective portal/page skins. One of the first things we did was edit the default theme to blend with our skin, which I am sure many DNN'ers have done. During our theme edit process last week, we decided to create 5 extra themes based on the default theme style and give back the DotNetNuke® community.

Everyone is invited to visit http://www.dnnspired.com/Download/tabid/489/Default.aspx and download each theme individually or the 5 theme pack. Instructions for installation is included in each zip file. You can review the color themes in action by clicking on one of the color swatches below. The 5 themed forums are live and fully functional so please be respectful of your fellow dnn friends.

Please note: There were changes made in DNN 04.05.03 module installation that allows for files to be uploaded via the Module Installation without creating a module. This was ideal because then it does not create a record in the Module Defintion that could be deleted, that would cause the Forum module to be inadvertently deleted. The forum themes can still be added for DNN versions prior to 04.05.03, however they must be added manualy to the folder:

\DesktopModules\forum\Themes

Could not find the free Skins. I registered, logged in but did not find them... what did I do wrong?

After register, went to the download page.
However this page is empty.
