Hi..I'm working with DNN 4.6.2 and Visual web developer . I'm trying to add new portal. I'm writing in the Host alias: localhost/newPortal and when I click on "Create portal", it's trying to redirect me to the new portal, but it's not found! The folder exists under "Portals", also in the database. I can't understand why I can't open the new portal? Is there some problem with the visual web developer web server? Some limit of portals or something?

to create an additional portal, simply enter the default portal as host user and go to portals in host menu. click add to create a new portal, either as parent or child. btw: you can change a child portal to a parent portal but not v.v.

That's not the problem..I made this, but after that the portal cannot be found. When you create the portal, it automatically redirect you to the new portal. And my portal just can not be found..If I try to login in this new portal (with the username and password that I entered as I created it), I cann't. I've read somewhere that the Visual studio web server  has some limit for portals...I don't know if it is the same with the Visual web developer server. Uhh....:)
