Hi,

This is a bit of a stupid newbie question but Im scratching my head so if anyone could help that would be cool.

I have added the announcements module to my frontpage but when I hover over the left hand arrow I can't see a "add new announcement link".

The same with the documents module etc etc.

I can only see:

"Import content"
"Export content"
"Help"
"Online Help"
"Print"
"Setting"
"Delete"
"Refresh"
"Move"

Any ideas? I'm sure its blindingly obvious but.......

I can attach a screenshot if thats of any use.

Cheers ;-)

I have noticed the same thing on my installation. In my case, it was due to my being logged in as the host admin on one of my client's portals. It was easily solved by using a portal admin account; apparently host admins cannot edit contents, while portal admins can. Seems logical to me since the portal is not really "your thing", but takes some getting used to.

HTH,
Paul
