What does the "Regenerate All Permalinks" function do? When should it be used? I could not find any refernce to it in the online documentation for the Blog module.

I am not 100% sure what this does, but be careful as it seems to reset all the blog entry records to today's date and time. I had to restore them from a backup to get the old date back.

Resetting the blog entry dates? Ouch. Glad I did not do this. That surely is a bug. I would log it in Gemini if I had the time today. Might it be best to instead just remove this functionality? Maybe Antonio Chagoury or Alex Whittington of the blog team can jump in and let us know what "Regenerate All Permalinks" is meant to do.
