Hello All,

I hope this post is in the correct spot.

I am trying to figure out if DNN could be a fit for our organization. I installed DNN 4.6.2 for a test and most everything looks good... except I need two things that I am aware of. I am wondering if there are products or extensions available that can do what we would need.

The first item is search. We need a search that will begin to populate as you type.

The second item we need a Horizontal menu that drops down (sub items) (which I see DNN out of the box can do) and a Vertical menu that drops to the right (sub items) on the same page.  The Horizontal menu and the Vertical menu would go to different locations.

Please point me in the right direction if you have any ideas.

Regards,

Chris

Chris, AFAIR there are several Serach modules available, have a look at marketplace and Snowcovered.

You can add cnn menu twice, one with vertical and second horizontal, but there is only one navigational structure, so you need to specify, how both work together.

Sebastian,

Thanks for the information... I did not find the search that I was hoping to find ... I did find a couple of vertical menu possibilities.  I have been playing with some container and skin modifications and added a few modules from the example modules provided from the DNN install. So far I like what I see.

Regards,

Chris
