I have set up a local DNN server, and i took the exhisting database from our live website and put it on the local server and re-ran the DNN instalation program with it. That worked very well, but now when i try to visit the local version of our site it redirects to the live IP of the real site. How would i go about stoping this so I can go to the local version of the site, so I can do some testing?

Thanks ahead of time for any help.

You'll have to change the site's portal alias from "www.your-site.com" to "localhost/your-virtual-directory" (at the bottom of the Admin > Site Settings page).

Or just add the alias.

Jeff
