Hi guys... I had a main skin(skin.ascx) that work perfectly fine for my website. I tried to create a new skin(subskin.ascx) and had it save in the main skin folder since they are sharing the same css and the only difference betwn these 2 skins are subskin.ascx has more ContentPane.

The web portal able to accept the subskin.ascx. The only problem I'm facing now is it doesn't pick up the skin.css at all. Can anyone enlighten where went wrong?

Can we see the page?

Did you try restarting the application?

Could be as simple as your naming conventions.  Skin.ascx will load skin.css, but subskin.ascx would not, unless it was the only .ascx in the folder.  DNN has a default load structure.  Try copying skin.css and naming it subskin.css so DNN will recognize it belongs to subskin.ascx.

You can have lots of "skins" in one folder, as long as a css exists for each one, even if it exists in the same skin.css file, but the css attributes reflect which skin they belong to.  Nina Meiers has an example of this using multiple containers in one folder if you want to download it from her site http://www.xd.com.au/downloads.xd?rrcid=39&rrscid=10&rrpid=1&rrepp=10  but you will have to register to download the files.

So, in short, either assign totally new css attributes to subskin.ascx and then enter those in skin.css, or copy it, rename it to match and it should work fine then.

Just a thought.
