Hi,

If we have events in a calendar that multiple users can see and edit, I was considering adding a "lock" field to the table such that whoever gets the event for editing, effectively locks that record for any other editing until it is updated... BUT, as we all know, the user decides to walk away without updating, when does that record get "unlocked"? I've also thought of a transaction-based fix but with a similar issue...

Any suggestions? Excuse my ignorance if there is an obvious solution :-)

Thanks

Once the record is selected, it will be in lock status with a expired time( maybe 2 hours, the parameter can be configured) until it have been submit into the system!Try this solution for your requiredment!
