Hi

I've succesfully implemented the AD authentication in DNN 4.5.5 and this works fine in my Organisation.

The only "problem" I've is to manually replicate all the groups I've in the AD typing again in the DNN "Security Roles".

There is no way to add reoles in the DNN table based on AD / LDAP schema? in my case I've a "OU" that contains all the roles I use in Portal, so a massive import should be useful.

In the past, when Tam created the AD authentication for DNN, I saw some message about the development of a authomatic tool that should import users' roles at login time (creating missing groups in DNN). There is the plan of something like this? in a AD controlled enviroment, this should be great.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Daniele

At this point there isn't anything from the provider team (me ) but if you look in the pinned post (AD Fixes) John Hoskins has one where he's written mass importing of users and what groups they're in. I don't know if he ever released the code it might do the trick for you.
