Hello,

Im using DNN 04.05.05 with sql server 2005. Because my web provider requirs SQL server 2000. I wanted to know

1)Whether or not DNN 04 works with SQL server 2000

2)What is the best way to transform the database into SQL 2000 from SQL 2005

Thanks in advance

Dimitris

Dimitris,

DNN is compatible with SQL 2000.

However, if the database in question was created on SQL Server 2005, you'll need to change the database's compatible level. You can do so by executing the following:

EXEC sp_dbcmptlevel YOURDBNAMEHERE 80;

HTH

I wanted to know whether or not u have tried this and worked. So you tell me that if i open my db from SQL server 2005 and go to the option of compatibility and change it in order to be compatible with sql server 2000 then this db, which has data in it,  will work with SQL server 2000 ??
