News Feed Is Not Available At This Time. Error message:'', hexadecimal value 0x1F, is an invalid character. Line 1, position 1

Hi Everyone,

Two of my feeds recently started erroring with the message above. However, they both worked before, the stylesheets didn't change and no recent DNN upgrades. So I tried them in the default FireFox RSS reader...and the feeds display there with no problem. Plus other feeds work with that stylesheet in DNN.

Thanks for your help...

Mike

Generally, that error is caused by the xsl having a space in the exact area specified in the error message.  Check the xsl to make sure that there is no space in the first position of line 1.  The .Net transformation routines are very unforgiving, and that may be why it works in your other news reader.  If that's not the case, post your xsl, newsource url,  and DNN version number.
