I'm new to DNN, only a couple weeks in. I was able to build an 03 server, set up SQL express, Installed DNN and have a site (portal) running.

Now I want to change apperence of my portal but I am lost with the whole skinning idea. I use dreamweaver CS3 and have the DDN extention working in that program.

I followed a couple tutorials on creating and packaging skins but I can't get them working.

What I need is a flawless detailed step by step guide on skinning.

Please Advise

Thank You in advance

Did you download the Skinning documentation?

It's in the documentation package on the download page.

I would really recommed Lee Sykes www.dnncreative.com - great tutorials and step by step instructions...

Alternatively, there are some really nice simple ones available on snowcovered that can easily be made your own.

Skinning seems daunting at first, but it's quite simple when you get the hang of it!

I also want to recommend www.dnncreative.com. It has some really good videos, especially on skinning.
