i am having the same issue out of nowhere.  i wasn't even changing anything on the site at the time.  everything works fine for non-auth users, but as soon as you try to login, it hoses.

according to this thread, it may be the events module, which i do have installed for about a month now but have not done anything with, causing the issue.  the problem is, i can't login to remove or reconfig it and i am on a shared hosting box so no chance of doing anything there.

any suggestions anyone?

well, i hoped ignoring it over the holiday break would do the trick, but no such luck. :)

no one has any suggestions?  is more information needed from me or how can i best get some input on resolving this issue?

Difficult to identify, does it happen only on the forums page? Do you get all errors listed above?

just the first, but i am only basing that on the Raw URL (mine = http://www.mysite.com/site/Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=The+Controls+collection+cannot+be+modified+because+the+control+contains+code+blocks+(i.e.+%3c%25+...+%25%3e).&content=0) and Description.  if you can educate me on how i get the full debug info as displayed above and i will post it.  it is possible it is not directly related.

also, i get the error immediately after entering a username and password when logging in from anywhere on the site.  i do have forums and calendar recently installed but with no activity on either yet.

thanks for the assistance.
