Can anybody help, I get the following error when trying to add attachment to post.

I am using DNN version 3.1.1 and dnn forum 3.20.01  message below

I would also like forum users to place pictures in post but cannot make the upload work.  The message is returned do not  have rights to upload????

 Any assitance is appreciated.

The permissions problem can be solved by viewing the gallery tab for that.  Go to Admin -> Pages and find the proper gallery page.  Change permissions accordingly.  The error shown w/ the stack is some sort of localization (resx) file missing I would think.  I have not seen the attachment error myself.

is it needful to add the gallery module to my portal to use the forum/attachements

Attachments do not use the gallery module so it is not necessary to have this installed for this purpose.

Hello, i have find out the problem is the extension of the document. if i add a .zip it works fine, but if i add some one else for example .jpg it cause the error. can anybody help? its very urgent
