yes it is. if i block this extension then it says that its an unallowed extension

I've always the same problem. I checked one more time all permissions, it should work.

I also uploaded a zip, the upload was really done, I checked it directly on the server, but I got this error:

Access to the path "E:\Websites\vhosts\heuris.net\Subdomains\santis\httpdocs\dnn\Portals\0\ForumAttachment\7" is denied.

But the attachement isn't registered to the post.

What happens, no answer, the problem becomes urgent!

IF, and I say IF

if you have set a maximum filesize for attachments there are 2 bugs you need to know about.

 

  • The algoritm that checks your file size is WRONG, if you want to limit file uploads to 1024kb you would have to enter 1073741824 in the textbox. This would be the only way to limit file uploads to 1MB
  • The error message saying that you file is too large to upload is MISSING in the resource file, causing serious errors
