I am on webhostforasp.net and I can't get portal aliases to work on a child site.

It worked for the parent portal, when I added the alias for the main site, so at least 1 alias has worked.

The sub sites and aliases I have are (and I'm not trying to advertise anything, my aliases are really broken)

http://aplusxl.com/kengarcy <-- Broken
http://aplusxl.com/Default.aspx?alias=aplusxl.com/kengarcy  <-- Works
http://aplusxl.com/Default.aspx?alias=aplusxl.com/kennethgarcy <-- Works

The alias' I have entered are
aplusxl.com/kennethgarcy
www.aplusxl.com/kengarcy
aplusxl.com/kg
www.aplusxl.com/kg

the KG and www..../KG work the same as the KenGarcy alias, if I do it as /ALIAS  it doesn't work but as /Default.... it does work.

This is a child portal so it is different than the host, and I tried
http://aplusxl.com/Default.aspx?alias=aplusxl.com/A and it redirected to the Parent site at aplusxl.com

If anyone can suggest something in DNN, the DB, or with Webhostforasp.net control panel that I need to modify to get this to work, please let me know.

(Again, not trying to advertise, just need this site working)

I'm kinda new to using the child portals and portal alias' on them, so I'm unaware I needed to do more than just add the alias to the system. I am running 4.6.2.

To set up the inital portal (KennethGarcy) I used the portal creation module from onyaktech. From there I just went in and added the alias. I haven't taken any other steps than that. Was unaware I needed to.

If you could point me to something that elaborates any additional steps, I'll check into that.
